How long have you been in business?
We’ve been building in Star Valley for over 10 years, and our team has decades of combined experience in home construction.
How does the design process begin?
You need to first have an idea of what you want your project to look like. Then you need to hire an architect to put a set of prints together with all of your ideas of what you want your project to look like. Lastly you need to hire an engineer to alter the plans to meet the local codes specific to where your project will take place.
How long will it take to complete my design project?
Once you have a set of engineered plans and all permits required we will be ready to get started with the project. The timeline will depend on the size and complexity of the project. We will be able to give a timeline specific to your project once we have all the information needed.
What type of projects do you manage?
I like your answer you have typed up about offering a comprehensive range of services. But here is another answer we can use as well. We offer a wide variety of services including new construction, remodels, additions, shops, custom homes, and barndominiums. We have experience in both residential and commercial construction. We complete as much as we can in house from excavation and concrete to finish work and landscaping as well.
Do you work with specific contractors or suppliers?
Yes, we have worked with the same team of amazing subcontractors and suppliers for years.
Do you carry out remote projects?
We do not carry out remote projects, we like to be a more hands on company.
What is the payment process?
After we have a complete set of plans we can then give an estimated project cost to the client. When we have agreed upon this number and are ready to start the project we then ask for a 5% down payment of the total estimated project cost prior to the commencement of the work. We then mobilize and begin the project. In addition to the actual cost of the project we do charge a 15% general contractor fee. We bill monthly for work that is completed plus the contractor's fee. The owner will withhold 5% as retainage from each progres payment and retainage will be released to contractor at the time of the final payment, this gives peace of mind and protects our clients.
